To help families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of
living with the problem drinking of a relative or friend. Similarly,
Alateen is our recovery program for young people. Alateen groups are
sponsored by Al-Anon members.
The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of
alcoholism in a relative or friend. Whether the alcoholic is still
drinking or not, Al-Anon offers hope and recovery to all people
affected by the alcoholism of a loved one or friend.
Al-Anon/Alateen is not affiliated with any other organization or
outside entity.
On This Site, there are a few Listings of the Groups located Inside
North Central Texas. This is for Informational Purposes ONLY!

site, and attend a group that is closest to you.
There is also some information posted here to help you learn More
About Al-Anon and How Al-Anon can help you or those that have

The Al-Anon family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share
their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems. We believe
alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery.

Your inquiry is confidential and anonymous. If you are concerned about someone else's drinking, we
encourage you to browse our web site for information about our program and attend a Meeting as
soon as you can.
